Highly Recommended Hotel Stay to Explore Surabaya
I had an amazing stay at Hotel NEO Gubeng. They have an amazing location, very close to the city's center. If you love to explore places in Surabaya, I highly recommend this hotel as it is located right in the middle of the city. If you take a train to a nearby city, you can go to Gubeng station, which is only 5 minutes away. They also have a very nice breakfast, I really love the Nasi Goreng Merah. Would love to stay here again.

Best Hotel for Solo Traveler
Wow! This hotel is beyond my expectations.
I stayed in this hotel for two separate nights. 11th and 14th of August.
As I travel by myself, I opted for Neo Room (Single Room). At first, I stayed in room 518, but on the second night, I choosed in the low floor (room 212 is the best one).
Basic amenities were provided. Coffee and Tea Maker is also available in your room!
However, I would love if they provide a hand soap/ hand bar soap. I booked a room only as I want to try the local cuisine for breakfast.
Their location is in the middle of Surabaya, near to shopping malls, train stations, culinary, hospital, and convenience stores!
But beware on peak hours as this hotel is located right opposite a junior high school.
In conclusion, great places for stay in Surabaya!

MY HOTEL AT SURABAYA
The location is very strategic, near Gubeng Train Station and also very reachable. Check-in and Check-out process was very fast. The room was excellent with nice, clean and cozy room. Soft pillows, clean sheets and towels, nice big shower room with hot water running freely and also WiFi are excellent too. Breakfast also excellent with a variety of food and real buffet, we could take our food by ourselves. I saw the manager was very busy helping his staff. He helped his staffs in front desk, restaurant. Even he doing mopping the floor by himself. I forgot his name but I was very impressed with him. You have a very valuable staff. A Great Place To Stay

What you expect isn't what you always get
Stayed in a single room of this hotel is my first experience. It's a quite roomy for single occupancy.
The hotel hospitality is quite good. Friendly staffs from security to reception. Housekeeping and Technicians were fast response for my complaints.
The downside was
Hotel wasn't smell good and quite dirty along the corridor.
Towel was quite dirty and has unpleasant smell like never been washed (smell of other person sweating)
Room soundproof wasnt good at all. You could hear clearly people talking outside the room corridor.
Need some improvements on cleannes and housekeeping

A staycation with NEO
Overall NEO is a nice hotel, very friendly receptionist and the staff. The breakfast also good, but the restaurant is too small. The TV channel and wifi must be repaired, we need the fast connection. Well, we love to stay here...see you in the other NEO
