Hotel Tokyo Palace is a gorgeous but reasonable bed and breakfast hotel opened in 2010 in Jaisalmer, the ”Living Musiem” city of West-end of Rajasthan, India. Jaisalmer is one of the acient prosperous city receiving benefits from camel caravan, Middle Ages land route trade. The city keeps the last remaining fort where people are still living. Our hotel locate just 5 minutes waking distance to south-side of the fort and the main market. And only 1 hour route distance to Thar Desert (Great Indian Dessert) where we can enjoy the Camel Safari.

Tokyo Palace
We are three girls from Germany traveling solo. The Tokyo Palace is a great hotel, it has a very central location and a nice and clean swimming pool. The staff was incredibly welcoming.They even drove us to the train station when we had to leave. The rooms are very clean and the typical Rajastani architecture characterized by the engraved stones and the majestic beds is just breathtaking. Overall we would rate this experience a 10/10 and hope to come back soon.

Fantastic night with great facilities next to the charming old city.
Brilliant and helpful staff. Pool and great view from the restaurant. The best value stay in Jaisalmer for facilitates and location. Make sure you stop by on the way to exploring the charms and character of this enigmatic city at the edge of India.

Amazing stay
We only stayed for one night before we did the camel safari but it was a great place to chill before. The swimming pool was nice and refreshing and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff where incredibly helpful and kind in the hotel and the restaurant upstairs which serves some delicious food for a decent price.

Really good price for a lovely place to stay, beautiful hotel, beautiful rooms , and great swimming pool. Definitely worth staying, would recommend. Great restaurant also where I got a paneer butter masala and butter rotis that were fantastic. Gorgeous views from the restaurant aswell.

Das Hotel ist wunderbar es wird ihr Aufenthalt in jaisalmer um einiges verbessern! Das Personal ist ausserordentlich freundlich und vor allem hilfsbereit. Sie bemühen sich sehr und das gelingt auch. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön und geräumig so wie die ganze Anlage. Das hotel hat eine Terrasse auf dem Dach mit einem Restaurant welches ich auch total empfehle. Die Terrasse hat eine bezaubernde Aussicht. Der Pool ist bei den Temperaturen in Jaisalmer auch perfekt. Alles ist sehr sauber und mit liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Lage des Hotel ist aucjbIch würde jedesmal wider in das Tokyo Hotel gehen, besonders wegen dem Personal.

Gut gelegenes Hotel mit super Resto
Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit im Hotel Tokio Palace und danken Sakhi und seiner Mannschaft für ein paar unvergessliche Tage während des Wüstenfestivals 2024. Die Lage ist außergewöhnlich gut, da fussläufig zum Fort und zum See. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den Koch. Wir haben hier ausgezeichnet gegessen, da der Koch hier alles lecker und frisch zubereitet. Wir können es nur empfehlen…

Meraviglioso! Massima attenzione ai clienti.
Tutto perfetto! Gentilissimo Sig. Sakhil, e' venuto a prenderci alle 00.15 alla stazione, ci ha regalato un upgrade della stanza facendoci dormire nella suite e ci ha anche accompagnato alla stazione dei bus il giorno successivo. La struttura e' molto accogliente, c'è il ristorante sul tetto dove servono cibo davvero buono con vista sul forte. La stanza è spaziosa, con materasso comodo e curata nei dettagli. Complimenti a tutto lo staff per l'estrema gentilezza e l'attenzione verso gli ospiti. Siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti. Super consigliato il soggiorno in questa struttura!!!! Grazie ancora a Sakhil!!

Ottima sistemazione
Hotel confortevole, con personale molto gentile sempre pronto ad aiutarti. Il ristorante sul tetto ha una bellissima vista sul Forte e di mattina è fresco e piacevole. I letti sono molto comodi. Davvero consigliato.

Te sientes como en casa
Hotel muy limpio y cuidado, personal muy hospitalario y atento a lo que necesitas. Sobre todo Nanga Khan el el encargado. Si los visitas en época de calor su piscina te refrescará. Excelente calidad precio

Nous avons réservés le Safari avec l’hôtel. Très belle expérience avec notre guide Sakhi. Même si nous n’avions aucune réservation à l’hôtel. Il nous as été permis de profiter de la piscine et de relaxer avant et après le Safari………………………..

Lo recomiendo 100%, personal muy atento, te ofrecen todo lo que pueden y más para que estés cómodo y bien atendido, todo perfecto! El restaurante está bien, buena gente. El safari de medio día nos gustó mucho, es una buena experiencia!

Bel hôtel agréable
Très bel hôtel. Propre et belles chambres. La terrasse sur le toit offre une vue sur le fort, particulièrement beau la nuit. La nourriture est bonne.
Tout le personnel est accueillant et très attentif et de donné du mal pour qu'on passe un bon séjour.

La nostra esperienza al hotel Tokyo palace è stata semplicemente magnifica, ci siamo trovati benissimo in tutto e per tutto.
La camera più pulita e ben arredata che abbiamo visto fin ora in India. Abbiamo apprezzato particolarmente la piscina alla sera al chiaro di luna per rinfrescarsi dopo una giornata calda nel deserto. Anche il loro ristorante ci ha sorpreso positivamente, vi consigliamo green peas mashroom curry con del naan.
Grazie Yusuf e al resto dello staff per aver resto il nostro soggiorno impeccabile.

Our experience at the Tokyo palace hotel was simply wonderful, we had a great time in every way.
The cleanest and most well appointed room we have seen so far in India. We especially enjoyed the pool in the evening by moonlight to cool off after a hot day in the desert. Their restaurant also surprised us positively, we recommend green peas mashroom curry with naan.

Hotel al centro di Jaisalmer, a piedi si arriva in una decina di minuti alla fortezza.

Excelente experiencia
El personal siempre dispuesto a ayudarte, incluso nos acompañaron andando hasta la parada de autobús el día de nuestra marcha . Las instalaciones muy bien, con una piscina que se agradece en los días calurosos y habitaciones amplias . Fuimos al desierto a pasar una noche y ellos se encargaron de todo resultando ser una experiencia maravillosa.
Si hay que decir algo a mejorar sería el desayuno ya que había muy poca variedad y para estar más de dos días resulta repetitivo.

Un séjour très agréable
Séjour très agréable, la meilleure chambre de notre voyage en 8 mois maintenant. Le personnel est très aimable et attentionné. C'est très bien situé avec une belle vu sur le fort avec un roof top très agréable.

Une belle escale
Tokyo palace est un hôtel très calme avec un personnel attentionné et charmant. De Magnifiques chambres et un roof top donnant sur la superbe forteresse. Les petits déjeuners et repas y sont très bien et la vue sur la forteresse est sublime. A ne pas manquer

Nos ha encantado este hotel, el personal es muy amable, la habitación que solicitamos fue la estándar con baño y cómo había disponibilidad nos dieron una más grande, pero las dos eran preciosas, el baño bien y la cama cómoda. La comida estaba buena y la terraza muy agradable con buenas vistas. El fuerte está muy cerca.

Netter Aufenthalt
Früh Morgens wurden wir von Sakhi am Bahnhof abgeholt und ohne Aufpreis zum Hotel gebracht.
Der gesamte Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm und wir wurden bestens versorgt. Von der Safari bis zum essen im Restaurant auf der Dachterrasse war alles sehr angenehm und von super Personal betreut.
Alles in allem ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt und nur zu empfehlen.

Super Dachterasse &Restaurant
Wir haben uns drei Tage im Tokyo Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein absolutes Highlight war das Restaurant auf der Dachterrasse- Blick aufs Fort - kuschelige Diwans, aber auch Tische&Stühle. Der Service war sehr, sehr freundlich- und der Mixed Fruit Pancake zum Frühstück einfach nur lecker .
Das Zimmer geräumig und gemütlich- lediglich das wlan & das Warmwasser war etwas wackelig und die Handtücher im Bad ziemlich verschlissen.
Zum Fort hoch läuft man ca. 10min.
Insgesamt aber sehr gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis !

Super günstig mit Pool
Das Personal ist sehr nett und sorgt sich um einen, obwohl man nur im dormetorium schläft. Auch wenn der Pool nicht so klar ist, wie in Deutschland, bin ich mehrmals drin geschwommen und habe es total genossen. Kostenloser Bahnhofstransport und 24h Rezeption sind weitere Highlights.
