It was our first time in Sardinia and I was not sure what to expect. My first recommendation would be to take care of your transfer from airport or port, be sure you are working with the right drivers because roads in Sardinia are very nice but with a lot of serpentine.
We got there around 10:00 in the morning and we had to wait a little while for our rooms but it went smooth and well. We had few issues because there was only one person at the reception speaking in English but we managed somehow.
Our room was on the last row before the beach and we did not had the fabulous view that the higher rooms have but in the end we did not went there to spend too much time in the room. Just to be aware, if you are staying close to the playground you will hear the silence and the birds early in the morning because after that a lot of kids playing and screaming and yelling.
It was a nice and big room, with enough space for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids). My husband had a problem with the lack of proper natural light because we had only one very small window close to the ceiling. And also with few little bugs or insects flying in if we had the door open in the evening. But for me it was not such a huge problem.
My true issue / challenge was the breakfast. Every single morning exactly the same options: fried eggs / omelette, something looking like fried sausages, some tomatoes, few pieces of not so tasteful ham and cheese. And too many donuts and pastries. All the other meals were just fine and we had things to eat / to chose but breakfast was complicated.
But the beach, wow, the beach. It was great and the water clear and almost warm in the first days it was colder (but we did went there mid June so probably very logic).
The personnel was lovely and even if they were not speaking English they were very friendly and we manage to understand with them (lucky me I am speaking some Spanish - close enough).
