Maybe try a new/different hotel next time?
So, what should you look for? We all have different choices; the common ones are ok services and rooms. I could not check in via the app; technically, it wanted me to download an app from a bank I don't use. I checked in via "self-check" at reception, but no one could explain why I couldn't use a mobile key. Morally, puts staff in a position to provide "service" when things stop ⛔🫣🥶. There was no help from customer service on the phone either.

So, loops in cleaning are a "regular thing” repeatedly. Inadequate or lack of routines are often reflected in several places 😶‍🌫️. This room didn't reflect that.

It's excellent with birds, but if you want "peace", it stops around 06:00 with the window open.

The breakfast is, as always, impeccable at Strawberry's, but so in many hotels in 2024.

The cord from the vacuum cleaner doesn't need to be in the corridor, HMS!

Who decided to put the hairdryer in front of the electric socket 😵‍💫?

The margins can be small. As an alternative, try some new or different hotels. Greetings from a former "mystery tester" of hotels in Choice 😉. And here is the answer to @Frida Andersson:

Very clean rooms, value for the money, location is good, only 8 minutes from the airport with shuttlebus.. All of the staff was very friendly.

Comfortable hotel - and reasonably priced - near Oslo Airport
This review combines both the hotel and the restaurant The Social Bar & Bistro.

I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. Check-in was flawless - I had the key within 30 seconds of arrival.
My room was located in the south-west corner of the hotel. There was no noise from the airport, even though the runway was less than 500 m away.
Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable and the minibar was reasonably well stocked.
There was a balcony equipped with a small table and two chairs. I would have appreciated it if someone had removed the dust on the furniture.
Also - there were bird droppings on the railing - it seemed that a clattering of jackdaws lived nearby. Please do clean the bird excrement.

I visited the Social Bar & Bistro for an evening meal. I got seated quickly. There were not many guests - perhaps around 10. The waiter was quick and attentive. I chose the "Catch of the Day" from the menu: Oven baked or perhaps fried salmon with oven baked small potatoes, vegetables and sauce. When it was served - to my surprise - it was really warm, probably straight from the oven. Nice! And it was really, really tasty.
Unfortunately - during the time I was eating the main course - 15 more guests arrived, and service broke down, as there was only one useful waiter. I waited a while to order dessert, but it took too long so I decided to pay at the counter and leave.

I parked my car at the hotel - NOK 345 for 38 hours.

Alt mad er frossent
I ordered a pizza with no pork, because im muslim, they just took the pork of, but they forgot some, so i noticed. I told and the staff maneger she got mad, and told us that we had to tell them before we came, also all the food is frozen wich is why they could not make the pizza different. They only have this one pizza

Oslo "airport" clarion
One pillow only.
Paper thin walls, people knocking on adjoining door when simply talking on phone.
8 US dollars per person for airport shuttle.
Only one electrical outlet per bed( had double) so either you use headboard outlet OR headboard light. Had to switch plugs deep between bed frames with a flashlight.
Consider hotel actually at the airport.

La nostra notte presso questo hotel è stata complessivamente positiva. Hotel molto bello vicino all’aeroporto,dispone di un bel ristorante e cocktail bar,la colazione è varia e abbondante,le uniche pecche sono la mancanza di aria condizionata e di acqua gratuita in camera,c’è nel frigo bar e costa più di 6€.

Hola viajantes del mundo , si viajas a Noruega y más en Oslo un Hotel cómodo, muy cerca del aeropuerto eso si los traslados en autobús cuesta unos 80 equivalente a ocho euros, pero vale la pena el desayuno es bueno, el trato es impecable y las camas gigantes y mega cómodas, puedo decir que son buenos, los mejores hoteles que me he quedado en comodidad . Posdata , volveré ? Claro que si

Il meglio vicino all'aeroporto
Se si decide di pernottare vicino all'aeroporto l'hotel Clarion è il meglio che si possa chiedere. Le camere sono spaziose, c'è una palestra fornitissima, sauna e hamman a disposizione di tutti (con asciugamani a volontà). Ottima pulizia ma il meglio lo tengo alla fine: la colazione è la migliore mai provata: qualunque cosa uno pensi lì c'è (ogni tipo di frutta, ogni tipo di pane o cracker, marmellate e cibo salato...tutto!!!)
Consigliatissimo. Navetta che in pochi minuti porta all'aeroporto.

Comodo e spazioso
Dormito solo una notte, in attesa del volo del giorno dopo.
Camera molto spaziosa e confortevole, letti oversize, bagno con lavabo dotato di grande piano d'appoggio. Nonostante si avverta un po' il rumore degli aerei in decollo, ho riposato bene. Il personale è molto gentile.
Considerato quello che offre non è neanche caro. Il ristorante mi ha un po' deluso: pochi piatti e prezzi in linea con il costo vita norvegese.

Hotel essenziale ma non troppo comodo
Hotel carino e pulito, personale gentile.
Camere spaziose.
Colazione veramente favolosa, dolce e salta
L’hotel dista 2 km dall’areoporto (in linea d’aria), ma a piedi la distanza è maggiore, sono circa 4 km: una bella passeggiata d’estate, ma in inverno con le strade ghiacciate è infattibile.
La navetta areoportuale costa 8€ a persona, non so quindi quanto convenga

chic à 2 pas de l'aeroport
bien situé car proche aéroport 5-10mn (navettes dispo). Divers équipements à dispo : sauna, salle de sport, bar, salle réunion… Buffet petit déj très copieux. Belle chambre confort, bien qu'on entende les avions toutes les 5mn car les pistes sont juste derrière le parc de l'hotel.

Alles in Ordnung
Das ist ein typisches Flughafenhotel. Sehr geschaftsmässig, gross, aber auch sauber. Für eine Übernachtung kann man nicht mehr verlangen, besonders wenn man im Transit und hundemüde ist. Charme strahlt es natürlich keinen aus.

Chambre propre et lits confortables !! Malgré la proximité de l'aéroport nous n'avons pas été dérangés par le bruit!!
Dommages que le bar ne soit pas ouvert l'après-midi pour faire patienter !!.........

Très bon dîner à côté de l'aéroport mais loin du centre d'Oslo
A cinq minutes de l'aéroport, dans un quartier où il y a de nombreux hôtels dont certains ne pratiquent pas la restauration, une bonne adresse pour son buffet varié, abondant et délicieux : nombreuses entrées, viandes et poissons bien cuisinés, desserts bons, en particulier un gâteau au chocolat

Bien mais ....
Autant le cadre est bien, autant l'établissement est moderne mais dieu qu'il est grand, trop grand à mon goût.
Mariages, séminaires, globe trotters, un monde incroyable s'y croise.
Les repas se font dans une ambiance survoltée, très bruyante. Par chance les buffets (dîners et petits déjeuner ) sont très copieux, très diversifiés.
Les chambres sont agréables mais assez mal insonorisées, les avions se succèdent et on les entend assez fort.
Dernier regret, 45 kms du centre ville, impossible d'y aller dans l'attente d'un avion

hôtel "en bout de piste"
Hôtel situé en bout des pistes de décollage de l'aéroport d'Oslo. très très bruyant, un avion toutes les 3 minutes. Chambre non climatisée ni insonorisée...
hôtel immense, beaucoup de chambres et beaucoup de bruit dans les couloirs.
clientèle plutôt chinoise et cuisine faite en fonction....

Überraschung
Gegenüber meinem ersten Besuch hat sich Vieles zum Besseren gewandelt. Bestechend ist die Freundlichkeit, die Sauberkeit, eine gefüllte Minibar und ein reichliches Frühstücksbüffet mit hart und weich gekochten Eiern. Das Brotangebot ist nicht berauschend und leider noch immer nicht frisch - zumal an einem Montag....

In den freundlich gestalteten Zimmern wurde für hinreichende Schalldämmung gesorgt, jedoch nur in Bezug auf die Fenster zur Runway des Airports, nicht in Richtung Flur, wo bereits morgens um kurz nach sechs rücksichtslose Gäste ihr lautes verbales Unwesen treiben.
Im Badezimmer habe ich nur einen leeren Behälter für Kleenex-Tücher vorgefunden, auch war außer Flüssigseife und Shampoo kein weiteres Angebot wie Bodylotion zu finden.

Alles in Allem mag man dieses Hotel inzwischen gerne empfehlen.

Nicht schlecht
Samstag Abend im Restaurant des Hotels mit fast gespenstischer Atmosphäre;
Kaum Gäste in dem wirklich großen Restaurant.
Dafür war die Bedienung sehr freundlich und das Essen, trotz langweiliger Karte durchaus gut und raffiniert.
Ich genoss Heilbutt der herrlich kross gebraten war in Verbindung mit krossen Rote Beete Chips auf einem Sellerie-Rüben Stampf.
Dazu frische Erbsentriebe ... spannend!

Auf Vorspeisen verzichtete ich, da ich weder italienisch essen wollte noch Wildfang -Garnelen aus Argentinien!

Der Käseteller war gut ausgewählt mit norwegischen Käsesorten

Alles in allem handwerklich sehr gut, lediglich die Karte ist recht einseitig und daher langweilig!

Ein vornehmlich auf Congresse ausgerichtetes Hotel
Großes rustikal anmutendes Hotel mit Congress-Zentrum in Flughafennähe. Zur Südseite ausgerichtete Zimmer heizen sich bei Sonneneinstrahlung sehr stark auf. Klimaanlage nicht vorhanden, Fenster lassen sich nur sehr schwer öffnen (Sperre). Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, unübertreffliche Sauberkeit. Normal eingerichtete Zimmer ohne wesentliche Besonderheiten und rein zweckorientiert. Ordentliches Frühstücksbuffet, Frühstückssaal wirkt allerdings sehr amerikanisch, vielleicht ein wenig nach Speisesaal einer Bundeswehrkaserne und ungemütlich. Viel Betrieb durch Congressteilnehmer und Wartezeit beim Ein- und Auschecken.

Buen hotel
Hotel cercano del Aeropuerto ideal para hacer escala

Nos hemos hospedado tres familias por un día y una noche en este Hotel, que está muy cerca del aeropuerto, para cubrir la escala para coger otro vuelo al día siguiente.
En general el Hotel está muy bien buenas instalaciones, limpio y buen servicio, tiene un centro de congresos al lado, en el interior da servicios como Hotel de negocios con salas de reuniones y convenciones. Aunque solo teníamos habitación y desayuno, cenamos en el bufett del restaurante y nos salió unos 29 euros por persona con una copa de vino o cerveza.
El desayuno en buffet bastante bueno. Recomendable
