Teilweise schäbig und in die Jahre gekommene Anlage. Marode und öde, da hilft auch die traumhafte Lanschaft nicht. Das Frühstück und das Essen a la card hat keine Qualität ist und ohne Abwechslung. Leider nicht zu empfehlen, darum besser woanders unterkommen.

A lovely location let down by terrible standards. The accommodation was grim and very dated. It was badly equipped without things like kettles, corkscrews, hairdryer, scissors etc. We saw rats circling the properties which was probably due to the overfilled rubbish bins which were not emptied regularly. The food in the main eating area was awful. The chips, which come with most meals, were easily the worst chips I have ever seen, they had no potato in them, they were like poor quality crisps. This place is ultimately let down by its leadership and management, there is a lack of staff in some busy areas like the bar (only one bar attender) and the restaurant. We loved our holiday in Portugal and met so many friendly Portuguese until we arrived here.

After a day or so staying here, you pickup a theme that this place just needs a big chunk of investment.

The villas are rather run down and not matching the decor on the TUI site. Lots of little bodge repairs with exposed mains, lights fittings hanging on by 1 of the 4 screws, missing cupboard doors etc. some of the pictures are also of an unrelated restaurant business down by the beach.

The beds themselves are terribly soft and uncomfortable and the “sofa” is just a single bed with two pillows.

Unlike other guests, we were lucky enough to get aircon but only on one floor. Would have been unbearably hot for anyone without this!

While the cooker was obviously a recent replacement, the kitchen utensils aren’t complete. No bowls, no coffee jug, no kettle, no tumblers or wine glasses, corkscrew not the right size to extract a cork etc. the list goes on. If you’re looking to have breakfast or an evening meal in the villa, you’ll struggle.

The pool itself is a lovely temperature but very cloudy and remained so all week. Looks like the filter isn’t up to the job at hand and needs upgrading.

While there’s a lovely area for lounging round the pool, there’s a chronic shortage of seats and parasols. You really need to be at the pool before 9:30 to reserve a parasol or you won’t get one all day. There’s easily enough space to triple the number of loungers and parasols and each day you see a steady stream of disappointed faces looking for shade. Some other reviewers have mentioned paying for loungers. This is no longer the case but you need someone to be poolside when they setup and unlock the loungers.

The Nora eating area serves basic food but be prepared for a really long wait for service. The staff don’t seem to scan the room so you’re best off walking up to the bar to order and pay.

Overall, I think we were lucky with the room and looking at other reviews and pics, I can understand guests frustration and it could have been worse. As a family, we enjoyed the week and learned how to work around the issues but it’s not somewhere I’d recommend and won’t be coming back.

We’ve been to similarly priced accommodation in the Algarve on previous years so it’s definitely possible to get better value for your money

Accueillis par le sourire et la gentille d'un personnel aux petits soins... Petites maisons regroupées dans un parc attrayant et bien entretenu. Les maisons étaient basiques mais avaient tout ce dont nous avions besoin avec une belle terrasse donnant sur un grand green avec quelques vues sur la mer. Dans la station était un café, un bar et un restaurant ainsi qu'une piscine, un court de tennis et une boutique.
Exceptionnel par le confort et par l'accueil.
Cela n'aurait pas pu être plus pratique pour la plage de Barril. C'était à 5 minutes à pied du train reliant l'île à la plage et les billets de train étaient inclus avec notre logement. C'était à 5 minutes en voiture de Tavira pour le dîner.
Nous avons aimé, apprécié et nous avons hâte d'y retourner..

Location à fuir, climatisation brouillante et fuyante, lit très inconfortable et brouillante tout date du siecle dernier,
Personnel souriant mais pas suffisants pour faire oublier la vétusté des locaux
Vraiment dommage quand le cadre est si beau

ville e villette intorno a un piccolo centro di ristoranti, servizi vari e piscina, il tutto collegato con la spiaggia oceanica. la caratteristica principale sono i prati, le piante, la sensazione di essere in campagna ma accanto al mare.

Nous arrivons 20h15,nous voulons manger proche de la cheminée il ne reste que quelques braises...nous demandons au serveur si l on peut rajouter une bûche...il nous répond qu il est trop tard et qu apres il devra attendre pour éteindre le feu....incroyable !!! Etant moi-même restaurateur, cette personne n a rien à faire ici et doit changer de métier.nous voulions vraiment manger ici mais nous n avons pas eu d autre choix que se lever et partir....face a un si mauvais accueil....a la direction de réagir!!!

Première impression...bien..calme... espèces verts..piscine. Il est 9h30.!!.. nous prenons le petit train qui nous amène à la plage du baril bien trop fréquentée comme tous toutes les plages de l’Algarve.la chambre est vétuste..mobilier rustique...NOUS SOMMES EN 1970..volets qui coincent...pas de climatisation... au restaurant....pas de buffet ...nous sommes servis à l'assiette...pas mal...mais attention...nous n'avons pas accès à toute la carte du restaurant..3 choix sur les entrées...3 choix sur les plats..3 choix sur les desserts...le reste nous devrons ajouter 4 euros par plat...nous avons hélas choisi un séjour de 15 jours...ça va faire long...et cher...il faut rappeler que nous sommes sur une demi-pension à 800 euros pour 2..Cet établissement n'est pas un hôtel ..mais un endroit locatif ou la population est en majorité portugaise...ou les gens viennent en voiture, en famille donc très bruyant..Très bruyant toute la journée...sauf le matin à 9h...la piscine est prise d'assaut par les familles...une horreur... et je vous passe la propreté de l'eau...la piscine est dégueulasse..et rarement nettoyée...et je vous passe d'autres détails ...petit déjeuner..etc.....Mesdames et Messieurs les voyagistes...cet établissement n'est pas un hôtel ..classez le donc dans la rubrique ..location..et ne mettez pas dans votre descriptif...CALME ET DÉTENTE...il n'en est rien...en tous cas pour nous et sur un budget à 3400 euros pour deux...ce sont des vacances chères et nulles...

Wir haben zu 2 10 Tage das kleinste Appartement gemietet (Studio) inkl. Frühstück. „Frühstück“ bestehend aus 2 Tage alten Aufback-Croissants, lieblos hingestellten Müsli und 3-4 Scheiben Schinken. Sowas habe ich tatsächlich noch nie erlebt. Die Bar und gleichzeitig Essens und Trinkmöglichleit während des Tages setzt die Kirche auf die Torte. Man wartet vergeblich bis man bedient wird. Auf 2 Sandwiches haben wir 1 Stunde (!!) gewartet und schmecken tut es auch nicht. Preise sind natürlich oberste Liga. Nicht falsch verstehen, aber bei einer derart großen Anlage und deren Preise muss man einfach mehr bieten können. Die Zimmer sind teils renoviert, allerdings hatten wir schon Schimmel an den Wänden und im Bad sind die Fließen abgegangen. Es wurde zwar regelmäßig sauber gemacht, aber das macht es nicht wett. Richtige Betten gibt es auch nicht, nur Bettmatratzen auf Gestellen, welche sehr unbequem sind. WLAN ist nicht im Preis mit dabei..unfassbar. Das wären dann nochmal 20 Euro extra für 10 Tage.
Nicht mal einen Schrank hat man. Also ich muss sagen, insgesamt ist man aufjedenfall in einem richtigen All-Inklu-Hotel besser aufgehoben. Zumal was wir bezahlt haben für die 10 Tage müsste man einiges mehr bieten können.
Können wir leider nicht weiterempfehlen!

Wir waren für zwei Wochen im Pedras d'El Rei im Urlaub.
Die Anlage ist sehr schön und vorallem es hat sehr viel grüne Flächen dazwischen.
Es war auch sehr ruhig. Das Personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Der Stand ist gut erreichbar über einen Weg durch das Naturschutzgebiet oder mit einer Bimmelbahn. Der Strand war sehr sauber und er wach auch nicht überfühlt mit Leuten.
Wir hatte auch von Hotel für drei Tage ein Fahrrad gemietet, die Fahrräder waren in einem sehr guten Zustand. Es gibt einen extra Fahrradweg von dem Hotel bis nach Tavira. Dieser geht meistens am Meer entlang.
Was ein wenig schade und mühsam war, sind die Liegestühle am Pool. Sie waren schnell besetzt und wurde aber nicht wirklich von allen genutzt. Da viele Liegen auch für Kinder reserviert wurde, welche aber die meiste Zeit im Wasser waren. Daher musste man am Boden liegen und dies war nicht so gemütlich.

Gepflegte Anlage mit Charme, ein Top Spot an der Algarve. Nette Familienhäuschen in geräumiger Umgebung, Ruhig und sonnig, vom Wind abgeschottet. Frühstücksbuffet könnte besser bestückt sein, jedoch freundliches Personal

Muy fácil llegar desde España, muy cómodo para familias con hijos, la casa correcta con cocina, el trato del personal exquisito y la piscina, bar junto a la piscina con wifi yel tren a la playa muy bien. Dejé a los más pequeños en el parque infantil que tienen un par de horas 2 días y la chica que los atiende, un encanto.
Repetiremos.

Un sitio ideal para descansar, comodo,paraje precioso, playita al lado, puente muy bonito para cruzar. El apartamento bien aunque un poco incomodo el sofa y las sillas.Las camas comodas y la cocina tiene de todo.

Nos alojamos 10 noches durante el mes de agosto, en una villa de una habitación. Conocíamos el sitio y nos pareció que después de 10 años de nuestra última visita, las villas necesitan una reforma urgente.
El baño está muy deteriorado: cisterna que funciona mal, bañera desconchada, suelo estropeado..
la cocina muy antigua, y sin muchas comodidades. Pero sobretodo es destacable la falta de limpieza. Te dicen que hay servicio de limpieza diario, pero nosotros nos pasamos 10 días con una telaraña en la ventana del baño, que nadie limpiaba. La cocina ni la tocaban, y se limitaban a hacer las camas (aunque no cambiaban las sábanas, aunque estuvieran sucias, sino era el día que tocaba).

Pedimos en la reserva una villa con acceso al jardín para que las niñas pudiesen jugar, y nos dieron una que no tenía una rampa muy peligrosa para los niños y sin acceso directo al jardín.

En definitiva, creo que la ubicación es ideal: playa estupenda, restaurante bastante bueno, jardines ideales .. pero las villas ya no compensan 217€/noche. Por mucho agosto que sea.

Grande servizio, vista mare (e c'e' il trenino per arrivarci) e laguna, ottimi spazi con piante diverse ed un prato d'erba fittissima, un tappeto. Ben gestito e tranquillo, grande ma non immenso. Appartamenti spaziosi, l'arredamento non e' moderno ma di buona fattura, fanno pulizie tutti i giorni, come in hotel.

Es ideal para descansar y relajarse, al menos en el mes de Abril. En plena reserva natural.
Estuvimos en una casita baja que la terraza daba directamente a una gran zona de jardín. El interior bien aunque el cuarto de baño es antiguo. En la terraza las sillas viejas y rotas

La struttura è davvero immensa, con un comodo parcheggio all'interno. Un residence che offre villette a prezzi convenienti dotati di tutti i confort...anche se un pò vintage negli arredi. Ottimo il servizio gratuito del trenino che offrono ai villeggianti per arrivare all'isola di Tavira. All'interno c'è un market molto fornito ed un bar niente male per degustare le famose paste.

Se trata de una urbanización de chalet Unos en propiedad y otros destinados al alquiler. Están ubicados al lado de una reserva natural y una playa FANTÁSTICA.
La urbanización está algo deteriorada por el paso de los años y los chalet acusan también esa circunstancia, sin llegar a defraudar la elección. Si quiero comentar como aspecto a mejorar el servicio de restauración y cafetería es extraordinariamente LENTO arruinando la velada.
En mi opinión el precio se mueve en la banda alta en este tipo de alojamientos.

Pessimo posto in cui passare una vacanza. Gli appartamenti sono vecchi, sporchissimi, i bagni inguardabili. Assistenza clienti scadente dato che abbiamo chiesto 2 appartamenti e di averli vicino e in nessun modo era possibile (il campo è veramente grande e pieno di persone). Ci sono gli idranti che appena esci ti spruzzano e ti impediscono di uscire dall'appartamento. Il costo è altissimo per il servizio dato. Non sono presenti oggetti di uso quotidiano come asciugacapelli, sapone, shampoo.... Letti scomodi, piccoli, lenzuola sporche. Non esiste copertura wi-fi in appartamento, ma è presente solo in una stanzina della reception, ovviamente piena di persone.TV non funziona. Condizionatore bloccato a temperatura standard, alcuni appartamenti non hanno condizionatore...Le camere sono pronte alle 16:00 cosa mai vista in nessun altro posto. Quando "vai" in un appartamento la prima volta ti danno una mappa fatta malissimo per capire dove è e non ti accompagnano nemmeno. Detto questo auguri per chi è ancora interessato a venire in questo posto
