A wonderful moms/daughters trip! 100%
We had a fabulous time at Sanctuary. The staff goes above and beyond to meet your needs and excel. We stayed in a premium luxury ocean view so can’t comment on all the other buildings accommodations. We were in building 6428 end unit King. Great food. Definitely recommend making dinner reservations prior to arriving if you know what you want to eat and or need specific time. We loved the steak house, ate at the Italian restaurant 2 times and the hibachi part of The Wok. Favorite staff we saw the most (but everyone was lovely) Jose at reception made our trip fabulous! Adela at the Love Bar makes amazing Cosmos nice and tart! At the pool seek out Christian Paris section. He will take the best care of you. Rosemary at the spa was amazing. Honestly everyone we spent time with was precious, kind and helpful. My only tips; drinks with quality brands are no issues, food was great, must hit the coffee bar for your morning lattes (try their version of fappuccino) so delicious.
Tips for the Luxury brand as we have staff at others…I wish the included wines were better. We ended up buying New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc because we didn’t enjoy any of the whites available. I wish the nightly turn down service included a bucket of ice vs needing to calling every night to room service. Lastly I wish the mini frig had options of gin, vodka, tonic etc to make a cocktail while you’re getting ready for dinner. Room service does a great job but the above suggestions just avoids the time delay.
Suggest taking lots of singles to tip and be generous.

Amazing hotel
My fiancé and I had a phenomenal stay. Staff is exceptional. Jose Confesor at the Asian restaurant was amazing. Willys at the seafood restaurant went above and beyond for us as we inquired about a food item. Marcos by the pool bar made the best drinks, along with Mikey - those two were exceptional. And if you visit the spa, make sure to ask for Dileisi ( she has angel hands ). Wish I could remember everyone’s name, but certainly a great experience and we look forward to returning.

A TRULY Special Place with TRULY Special People
As we were planning our honeymoon, we knew we were looking for several key features in a destination - tropical, adults-only, all-inclusive, and good food. When multiple internet searches and "best of" lists proved inconclusive, I asked a friend about Sanctuary Cap Cana, where he had stayed during his 2021 wedding. "That place...is special," he told me. I had no idea what that could really mean, but after five nights at the property, I know now what he meant.
We were originally booked in the Castle in a Junior Oceanfront Suite, and absolutely LOVED the room and location. It was beautiful, and the view and ability to walk right out to the grass and be right by the ocean was among the most picturesque hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. The Castle Pool, noted at check-in, as "the quietest" on property, was my favorite pool on property. However, our stay in the castle was cut short due to a leak in the roof. The maintenance staff was prompt in coming into our room during our second evening to repair the leak, but unfortunately, the patch did not take, and there was a hole in our roof when we woke up on our third morning.
Enter our butler, Angel - who, true to his name, was our guardian throughout our entire vacation. "You don't need to be in this room for one minute longer," he told us, after we sent him a picture. "Give me a few minutes."
By the time we had gone to breakfast and headed to the main pool, Angel had messaged us with the opportunity to upgrade to a villa for the remainder of our stay. Not only was the room beautiful, Angel also handled moving our luggage between rooms so that we could enjoy our day at the pool. Honestly, it was an incredible gesture. At a all-inclusive previous resort where we had stayed in Mexico, the front desk made a mistake at check-in and gave us the wrong room, but their solution was expecting it to fix it ourselves rather than remedying their mistake. The fact that Angel took the initiative, not only to expedite maintenance, but to get our room switched when he deemed it wasn't satisfactory, says a lot about him and the team they have at Sanctuary Cap Cana.
Despite having 10 other rooms' worth of guests during our stay, Angel was always available when we needed him - either with questions or for a quick golf cart ride - with a smile and positive attitude that felt genuine. He checked in on us often without being overbearing. He was truly wonderful, and it felt like we had a close friend moreso than a butler by the end of the week. As human beings, we all are allowed to have a bad day or an off moment, but at least when he was in front of guests, Angel was "on" at all times, and honestly, I just wanted to take a moment to celebrate his professionalism and passion for providing true hospitality to guests at Sanctuary Cap Cana. People like him are tough to find in the hospitality industry.
But he wasn't the only employee at Sanctuary Cap Cana who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was wonderful. I want to recognize several of the F&B staff who were also integral to our experience - "Super Gery" at the Steakhouse was our server on multiple nights, and was incredible. We also had Edwardo and Jonathan during dinners at Capriccio, and they were both fantastic as well.
Another employee we had multiple memorable interactions with was Xiorkys, who was the hostess at both Casa Bella (breakfast) and the Steakhouse. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and engaging, and recognized us at each meal - encouraging me to try to recall my rudimentary Spanish that I hadn't studied in 15 years. It became a bit of a game by the end of our trip - and when I thanked her - in Spanish! - for "forcing me to remember high school Spanish" - I thought she might tear up.
And on the subject of food, it was easily the best food I've ever had at an All Inclusive Resort - from the breakfast buffet to seafood at Blue Marlin, to dinners at the Steakhouse and Italian restaurant, and even an afternoon snack from Room Service - everything was DELICIOUS. We did not have the opportunity to try the Wok or any meal from Sanctuary Town - though the ice cream shop at the latter was delicious! - our meals at the Steakhouse and Capriccio were such stand-outs that we wanted to experience them twice.
The pool staff - Happy Boy, Jose Elvis and Oscar specifically, were amazing, and would ensure we had our ideal seats every morning at the "small" pool next to the main pool, and the drinks were always flowing. The good news about the pools at this resort is that there is truly an experience for everyone - if you prefer activities and a swim-up bar, the main pool is perfect for that. If you prefer to stand and read in the pool in peace and quiet, there are mutiple pools for that. If you even want to stand on the edge of an infinity pool and look out across the main pool area and towards the ocean, Sanctuary Cap Cana has you covered. There was an abundance of available chairs and seating options around every pool, and better still, there was never a "mad rush" in the morning of saving chairs.
We also visited the Spa during our visit - it was our Honeymoon after all! While I didn't happen to catch the names of the Spa Staff, I can note that the "Better Together" couple's massage was the best massage that my wife and I both have ever had. The customer service in the spa was top notch, and will be a "must do" when we eventually return to SCC -- and yes, we WILL return.
To close, it's been years since I've left a vacation with tears in my eyes because the week was so incredible, beyond expectations. We quite literally didn't want to return home. It was the most relaxing week of our lives, and we have the Sanctuary Cap Cana staff to thank for it.
So, in summary, I now know what my friend meant by "Sanctuary Cap Cana is special." We can't wait to come back.

If you even want to stand on the edge of an infinity pool and look out across the main pool area and towards the ocean, Sanctuary Cap Cana has you covered. There was an abundance of available chairs and seating options around every pool, and better still, there was never a "mad rush" in the morning of saving chairs.
We also visited the Spa during our visit - it was our Honeymoon after all! While I didn't happen to catch the names of the Spa Staff, I can note that the "Better Together" couple's massage was the best massage that my wife and I both have ever had. The customer service in the spa was top notch, and will be a "must do" when we eventually return to SCC -- and yes, we WILL return.
To close, it's been years since I've left a vacation with tears in my eyes because the week was so incredible, beyond expectations. We quite literally didn't want to return home. It was the most relaxing week of our lives, and we have the Sanctuary Cap Cana staff to thank for it.
So, in summary, I now know what my friend meant by "Sanctuary Cap Cana is special." We can't wait to come back.

Great resort!
Very pleasant experience, top-notch hospitality, very cozy feeling afterwards thank you Maximo ( Blue Marlin) . We had awesome massage with therapist Aldagzia!!!!
All staff are friendly, food is good, many different options. Although it is rain season, but we had light rain for 20 mins max twice for the week.

Perfect getaway
We attended a wedding here. Incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. The rooms were clean and well done with great views. Highly recommend the castle suites. Easily the best all inclusive I’ve been to. Our Butler, Emilio, was the best! Couldn’t have asked for a more attentive or helpful person to make the trip extra fun!
