Starhotels Michelangelo Rome

This hotel is a stone's throw from St. Peter's square, so great for touring the Vatican and its museums. It's on a fairly quiet street. Fairly small hotel, and the rooms are not huge, but more than adequate. I do wish the shower was a bit larger, though. Breakfast is limited in its variety but of good quality and quantity.

The reception staff are friendly and helpful.
The area around the hotel has sufficient dining options, and there is also a supermarket close by.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per 4 notti e sarà sicuramente una vacanza indimenticabile anche per la nostra scelta ottimale dell’hotel . Tutti gentilissimi , camera pulitissima anche se dava sulla strada nessun rumore ma la cosa straordinaria vicinissimo a San Pietro . In camera il kit per un caffè ( insostituibile) . L unica pecca che la pulizia della camera veniva svolta troppo tardi secondo me perché troppa poca gente per le pulizie , comunque hotel da suggerire per una vacanza romana

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo fantastico albergo vicino al Vaticano. Le ragazze alla reception gentilissime e cordiali. Affacciandosi dal balcone si può ammirare la cupola di San Pietro. Camera pulitissima e dotata di ogni confort. Buffet della colazione abbondante . Hotel consigliatissimo

Super gelegen unmittelbar neben dem Petersplatz. Sehr schönes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Empfang. Wurde uns von Freunden empfohlen und wir waren ebenfalls begeistert. Ruhiges Viertel, somit gut geschlafen. Sehr grosszügige und saubere Zimmer. Alles da, sogar Bademantel und Wasserkocher inkl. Zubehör. Wir haben ohne Frühstück gebucht, weil wir morgens nur Kaffee trinken, und in der Umgebung einige KaffeeBars vorhanden sind.

We stayed here for the first time in Jan 24 and despite some of the comments on TripAdvisor I can only say that all the staff we interacted with were extremely polite, attentive and helpful (and yes they may speak Italian to each other which is only to be expected in their country). The hotel is well appointed and clean.

We had a balcony room and found the room well appointed, great to have a view of St Peter’s Basilica, clean and with the amenities you would expect.

Breakfast was comprehensive and although not everything was to our taste there was plenty of choice so no issues. We also ate in the restaurant one evening and found the menu had a good selection and the food tasted great and portions large.

You couldn’t ask for a better location to explore Vatican City and wider Rome.

Will be returning!

Está bien pero el trato no es bueno por parte de todos y el cuarto un poco pequeño llegando nos atendieron muy amables pero requerimos un doctor no había y nos trataron mal sobre todo dos hombre que no recuerdo su nombre incluso nos tacharon de homeless por pedir ayuda con eso es suficiente para no regresar sin contar que el cuarto es pequeño

Ottimo albergo vicino città del Vaticano, ottima posizione per raggiungere qualsiasi sito di Roma, con delle belle passeggiate ma anche con i bus. L'albergo è molto pulito e curato in ogni particolare, le camere pulitissime. L'albergo è dotato di cassaforte, frigobar (a pagamento), servizio di lavanderia (a pagamento), bollitore e macchina del caffè, inoltre troverete ciabattine e accappatoio in camera. E' dotato di un parcheggio privato gratuito, transennato, ma non prenotabile. Altrimenti in zona si trova parcheggio per 35 euro al giorno. Ottima colazione, servizio buono e cortesia

Experiencia realmente desagradable, no os recomiendo nada de nada este hotel. Fraudulento, la palabra del cliente vale 0, y las formas son de todo menos correctas. No lo recomiendo, y no volveré.

Muy buen hotel excelente ubicación y servicio. Buenos alimentos perfecto para pasar unos días conociendo Roma. Habitación muy cómoda, limpia y funcional
Es el primer hotel que tiene bases para poner dos maletas, lo cual es perfecto cuando es habitacion para dos personas.. La persona más amable y atenta de todo el hotel Dayana E, nos hizo sentir muy cómodas, siempre tuvo un taro cálido y amable. Ojalá sus compañeros puedan aprender un poquito de ese trato cálido.

En nuestro viaje por varias ciudades de Italia, este ha sido (sin duda) el mejor hotel de los que hemos estado y el único al que yo le daría la categoría de 4 estrellas.

Hotel bien cuidado, con las habitaciones de buen tamaño y reformadas. Muy limpias, con cama muy cómoda y un baño muy bien equipado.

El desayuno está incluido en el precio y está muy bien o variedad que te ofrecen.

Además, está en una ubicación inmejorable: a 5 minutos caminando de la Plaza de S. Pedro. En una zona tranquila y bien comunicada por bus.

Sin duda, ya tengo hotel de referencia la próxima vez que vuelva a esta increíble ciudad.

Wir waren über Silvester in diesem Hotel she dem Vatikan. Der Empfang war freundlich und herzlich.
Auf alle Fragen wider freundlich und professionell geantwortet. Das Silvestermenü war exzellent, der Wein dazu reichlich und gut. Dazu noch Livemusik, was könnte schöner sein. Alles in allem ein empfehlenswertes Hotel!

Wir waren Teil einer Reisegruppe, die zuerst in einem anderen Hotel hätte untergebracht werden sollen. Das Michelangelo entschädigte mit seiner super Lage in der Nähe des Petersdoms, in einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse gelegen.
Das Check-in verlief etwas langsam und aufgrund eines "Systemwechsels" gabs anfänglich auch nur eine Zimmerschlüssekarte pro Zimmer. Am Tag drauf konnte man problemlos einen weiteren holen.
Wir hatten ein Classic Zimmer, unsere mitreisenden Verwandten eins mit Balkon. Unser Zimmer war für uns okay, alles hat funktioniert. Der Schrank ist zwar hoch, hat aber nur unter dem Tresor auf Kniehöhe 2 Ablagefächer. Dafür hats anständige Kleiderbügel, die man problemlos rausnehmen und wieder einhängen kann. Unser mittelgrosser Koffer hatte auf der Kofferablage genügend Platz.

Positiv: Wasserkocher für Tee und Instantkaffee auf dem Schreibtisch, Bad (mit Badewanne) mit genügend grossen Duschtüchern sowie Bademantel.

Negativ: am vorletzten Tag kamen wir am Nachmittag für eine Stunde ins Zimmer zurück - es war nicht gemacht und wurde auch, nachdem wir um 15.30 h wieder weg waren bis abends spät, nicht gemacht. Da es die letzte Nacht vor der Heimreise war, mochten wir nicht mehr reklamieren und wollten nur noch schlafen. Das Schild "Bitte Zimmer reinigen" hing an der Tür...

Frühstück: für uns genügend grosse Auswahl (Rührei, Müesli, frische Früchte, Säfte, Süsses, Käse, Aufschnitt, Brot). Ständig gabs frischen Nachschub, da es grosse Gruppen im Hotel hatte. Dank der verschiedenen Stationen gabs aber nie eine Schlange.

Was man noch verbessern könnte: einige der männlichen Angestellten könnten noch etwas an der Freundlichkeit und Dienstleistungsbereitschaft arbeiten und sich auch den älteren, nicht Italienisch sprechenden Gäste widmen.

ÖV haben wir nicht gebraucht (es hätte eine Bushaltestelle in der Nähe), wir waren viel zu Fuss unterwegs. Vom Trevi Brunnen bis ins Hotel ist es ein Spaziergang von ca. 30 Min.

Alles in allem haben wir unseren Aufenthalt im Michelangelo genossen.

Einchecken ging problemlos. Unser Zimmer war normal groß und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Das ganze Personal ist nett und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück bietet eine reichliche Auswahl um gut in den Tag zu starten. Nahverkehr Anbindung ist nicht gerade super, aber dafür geht man zum Petersplatz nur ca 5 Minuten. Da wir gut zu Fuß sind haben wir Rom so erkundet. In der nachbarstraße gibt es kleines Lebensmittel lädchen, leider wird man dort als Tourist nur abgezockt. Das Hotel ist top.

Wir organisierten einen Ausflug mit knapp 60 Personen nach Rom. Alle im
Starhotel Michelangelo. Die einheitliche Meinung aller Mitfahrer: alles super, manch 5* Hotel erreicht nicht diese Quatilät.
Problemlosen Ein- und auschecken, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, sehr gutes Frühstück, alles sauber, gute Betten, sauberes Bad mit großer Badewanne.
nur zu empfehlen.

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est très bien.
Le personnel a été plutôt méprisant, aucun effort (de traduction, de tentative en anglais ou français) n'a été fait pour essayer de me comprendre. Ensuite, j'ai été étonné qu'ils se permettent de se moquer de moi, devant moi, avec d'autres clients ... Mais après tout, peut être que ces Messieurs avaient leurs contrariétés mensuelles et que je suis tombée pile à la mauvaise période, qui sait.
Le restaurant de l'hôtel très onéreux pour si peu de quantité et pour une qualité moyenne. Concernant le petit déjeuner, je serais mauvais juge, le matin j'ai faim donc je mange ce qui me tombe sous la main.
Quant aux chambres, c'est plutôt classique, ni chic, ni cosy, avec un problème de climatisation. Bon heureusement, le personnel de nettoyage fait bien son job et les chambres sont propres.

Hôtel situé derrière la place ST Pierre idéalement situé et dans un quartier calme .
Le personnel est au petit soins et en même temps très discret.
La chambre est belle et confortable ( petit reproche : chauffage trop fort et impossible à régler donc fenêtre ouverte en permanence )
Le petit déjeuner est à profusion et délicieux !

ne louer pas de voiture l hôtel ai aux portes du VATICAN de plus pas de place en ville.
je vous conseil le bus N°64 a coté de l hôtel qui dessert tous ou presque pour le
restant terminus TERMINI et prendre le métro ligne A-B et plus . Ne passer pas a coté du restaurant le dome de plus chef et serveur parle francais . Le PDJ pour moi il ne m manque rien pour tous les gouts et religions , et ci il manque demander vous serez servi comme un prince . C'est un hôtel 4 étoiles et moi je lui offre une étoile en plus pour le service et le personnel digne d un 5 étoiles .S-A de bretagne
