Stunning hotel and incredible staff!!!
My husband and I stayed here for our Honeymoon, and we could not have picked a better spot. The trek from Liberia to Nosara is a bumpy one, but once you finally make it to Tierra Magnifica, it is so worth it. From the second we arrived, we were given incredible service. The staff is a big part of what makes this place so special (Jeffrey was amazing!!). They all make it a point to learn your names and make you feel at home. One of the servers, Stephanie, even caught on that I like hot sauce so she brought me a side of it at every meal. The food there is AMAZING. We had dinner at Huacas all but one night.

If you do decide to go into town, you don't need to have a rental car because the staff can call you a tuktuk for about $10. We only went to the beach a couple times because we really enjoyed the serenity at TM. I'd recommend this place for any couples wanting a relaxing and romantic getaway. If you are more adventurous, there are tons of activities in Nosara to seek out, but TM itself is pretty serene. I hope we can come back for a future anniversary!!

Loved!!!
I don’t even know where to begin. Tierra was absolutely incredible through and through! It was a very intimate experience, all the workers would remember your name, face, food preferences, and go above and beyond to reserve places for you to go to and order transportation. The service was amazing and the gastronomy was incredible. The Yo Queiro Casar dessert is an absolute must. The bedroom was so beautiful and serene, and I have truly never slept on such a comfortable bed or showered in a shower with such an incredible view. Would absolutely come back!

Great spot!
The staff was BEYOND kind, helpful, friendly, and dedicated. The location/facility was gorgeous with great food, rooms, and views. This was truly a nice boutique hotel that is 10 min drive from the beach.
Expect some heat/humidity and bugs in the bathroom since it is an indoor/outdoor room. I didn't notice any bugs in the main room since we kept the bathroom door closed at all times.

I believe the price was definitely on the higher side (compared to the airbnbs we had on other legs of the trip), but that is something I agreed to so I can't really complain.
I do wish there was a small fridge in the rooms to keep drinks and snacks.
Thank you Tnickh for giving us a great shoutout. We appreciate you taking a moment to share your experience. We are a bit more costly than an air BnB but being a 14 room full service hotel does cost small fortune. It's a nice way to end your vacation with a little pampering.

Visiting Costa Rica in general is so wonderful because as a tourist you are made to feel welcome. Tierra Magnifica is no exception. The service is top notch at Tierra Magnifica. The beauty of the hotel and its surroundings is incredible. From the property you can hear and see howler monkeys and many types of birds. From the pool deck and restaurant there are breathtaking views of Playa Guiones. The Huacas Restaurant on property was delicious and was a great experience for breakfast and dinner.

Beautifully run hotel, best restaurant in Nosara, great helpful staff, amazing views over Guiones. Best to have a car if you are staying here.

Endroit de rêve
Endroit superbe, la vue, les chambres, la nourriture mais surtout le service. Ils ont pleins de petites attentions pour leurs clients. Nous avons passé 2 nuits et nous avons adoré. C’est un peu en retrait de la plage, mais très facile d’y aller en voiture ou en Tuk-tuck. La vue sur la mer et la tranquillité de l’endroit sont très appréciées.

Restaurantbewertung für dieses Hotel erfolgt separat, „Huacas“
Super schön gelegenes Hotel auf einem Berg mit toller Sicht auf die Bucht von Nasaro. Der Empfang war freundlich, wenn auch ein wenig irritiert (meine Wahrnehmung). da wir (meine Vermutung) mit einem 12 jährigen anreisten. Das Hotel ist ein Adult omly Hotel und erst ab 15 angedacht. Ungeachtet dessen, wurden wir mit einem fantastischen Cocktail (wie überhaupt die Cocktail Karte hier erstklassig ist) begrüsst. Die Zimmer waren ok, nicht sonderlich spektakulär, unseres gar um einiges kleiner als jenes der Kinder und auch etwas simpler ausgestattet, bspw. die Dusche. Frühstück gab es in der landestypischen Form (Obst allerdings mit Zusatz eines Granolas) und eine Auswahl al la Carte. das mehr als satt macht und in ausgesprochen guter Qualität. Morgens wird eine Yoga Stunde angebunden einer netten Lehrerin, die noch ihren Yoga-Flow finden wird. Hotelmäßig war dies neben Tamarindo unser Highlight in Costa Rica.

Superbe vue service sans faille qualité des repas
Pour moi le meilleur restaurant de la zone. Tout y est impecable les plats sont succulents et la qualité est un must ici a Nosara. Rare sont les restaurant de cette qualité la seule chose est qu'il n'accepte plus les chiens

Naja...
Dieses Hotel ist eigentlich sehr schön gemacht....die Terrasse wo sich das Restaurant befindest ist wunderschön!
Das Essen ist ok!
Frühstück wäre ok wenn es wenigstens ein Brot geben würde....aber leider gibt es kein Brot in diesem Hotel!

Die Zimmer sind sehr sehr klein, obwohl wir schon ein besseres feucht haben (ein Premium Zimmer). Es gibt viele Ameisen im Zimmer und es wird auch nur einmal am Tag das Zimmer gereinigt...(keine Abend Reinigung) diese wäre gerade in Ländern wo es sehr viele Ameisen use gibt (beißende Ameisen) schon sehr wichtig!
Billig ist es auch nicht.....knapp 500USD /night!
Also um das Geld würde man sich schon etwas mehr im Zimmer erwarten!

Aber ansonsten ein Nettes Hotel!
We are sorry you did not enjoy your recent stay with us. You happened to hit the week mother nature decided to switch on green season. The great part of this time of year is the burst of color in the trees and our gardens and the awakening of the wildlife around us. Unfortunately that include the critters. It is difficult to manage this short term population growth of bugs (about 2 weeks) in a tropical rainforest setting that prides itself on environmental sustainability, especially in a small 14 room boutique hotel surrounded with wildlife. We didn't know you were evaluating our hotel for your business but it's best that you experience us for what we are so you can avoid referring travel clients who will be uncomfortable with our open-air natural environment during the start of Green Season. December through Mid-April is our dry season which is warmer and and pretty bug-free.

Perché dans la nature
Charmante parenthèse passée au Tierra magnifica … jolie decoration des espaces communs et petite piscine mosaïque avec vue sur Nosara en contrebas . Les chambres perchées dans les arbres nous rappellent la proximité de la nature avec les singes qui s’y amusent ( ne pas oublier de fermer ses fenêtres) avec un lit grand confort et une décoration soignée . Toute l’équipe est aux petits soins , ainsi que l’équipe du bar et restaurant … Huacas … merci pour ce joli moment .

Excellent
Excellent hôtel, magnifiques installations, très propres et très calme, service excellent (réception, concierge, restaurant, chambres, laundry service gratuit et très pratique) qui nous donne l’impression d’être les seuls clients de l’hôtel. La cuisine du chef du restaurant de l’hôtel est succulente.

Pura vida
Très bel hôtel de charme, chambre spacieuse confortable agréable. L équipe très sympathique est aux petits soins pour ses clients.
Mention spéciale pour la barmaid et ses cocktails, restaurant d’un très bon niveau

Un lugar donde se respira paz, calor humano y hermosas vistas
Nosara es una zona turística muy típica de CR, pero a tan solo unos minutos el ambiente cambia totalmente, brisa, vistas y muy buena comida. El chef nos sorprendió con un menú exquisito y la verdad diferente la manera en que se sirven los platos.
Las habitaciones muy completa, limpias, y la vista lo vale todo.
Gracias Mauricio por sharonf su experiencia en Tierra Magnifica con nuestro equipo y futuros huéspedes. Estamos felices de que nos haya encontrado. Por favor, quédese con nosotros de nuevo. Nunca dejamos de mejorar.

Cena
La vista es lo mejor del lugar. Un lugar preparado para turistas, desde la música, la comida y la atención no fue buena. Nos recomendaron desde el hotel donde nos hospedamos. Vinimos y cómo estábamos solos, nos apuraron levantando las mesas mientras no habíamos terminado de cenar. Nos trajeron la cuenta sin que la pidiéramos, esto es a las 7 de la tarde. No nos hicieron sentir a gusto. No lo recomiendo.

Lamentamos que haya tenido una experiencia de comedor decepcionante con nosotros. Lamento no haber estado allí para ayudar a mejorar la situación. Creo que te dimos dos tragos en la casa y si aún estás en la ciudad me gustaría invitarte de vuelta a comer otra comida en la casa. Su experiencia no es la experiencia gastronómica normal en Tierra Magnifica.

De las mejores vistas en todo el Pacífico costarricense
Tierra Magnífica es una de las más impresionantes propiedades que he conocido. Ya me había hospedado hace unos años para una boda (increíble evento) y recién regresé. Vistas insuperables, servicio y comida inmejorables, simplemente perfecto. Los propietarios y el staff son cálidos y con muchas ganas de complacer a los huéspedes. Habitaciones amplias, cómodas e impecablemente decoradas. Muy muy recomendado!!!

"El destino" en Costa Rica para una familia grande
Tenemos años de estar planificando la visita de familia de los Estados Unidos a Costa Rica. Un grupo de 18 nos juntamos para las vacaciones en Costa Rica. Es la primera vez que no tomamos vacaciones en una cabina en el norte de Wisconsin. Después de buscar y buscar... y buscar, elegimos a Tierra Magnifica en Nosara como destino para el grupo. La verdad es que no pudo haber sido mejor. Todos nos quedamos maravilados del lugar. Es un lujo tropical. El personal de Tierra Magnifica nos atendieron de una manera fabulosa. Cada día nos ayudaron planificar actividades en la zona, de las cuales hay muchísimas. Como tica, pensé conocer bien la zona de Nosara pero realmente me sorprendió. Hay mucho que hacer y no se siente abrumado por molotes de gentes.
