Positives: Close to the town centre & beach; Decent Room & small Rear Balcony, Good Breakfast.
Negatives: Car Parking very limited, Room needing updating.
Reasonable Value for Money.
Not sure how the 3 Stars are awarded - it’s just a bed & breakfast.

Nous vous remercions d'avoir pris le temps de nous faire part de vos commentaires.
En effet nous n'avons pas parking privatif, le stationnement étant gratuit à Royan. Il y a de nombreuses ruelles aux abords de l'hôtel dans lesquelles se garer aisément.
Nous entretenons notre établissement régulièrement, les gros travaux se faisant plutôt l'hiver.
Notre hôtel est bien plus qu'un lit et un petit-déjeuner mais nous ne pouvons pas plaire à tout le monde. Heureusement, la plupart de nos clients apprécient leur séjour chez nous et reviennent avec plaisir !
Nos 3 étoiles sont justifiées et méritées :)

We absolutely loved every thing about this hotel, parked straight away outside. Front of desk incredibly friendly and professional. Room beautiful and fabulous sea view, we just sat and watched the beach. Seconds to lovely bars and restaurants. Breakfast superb. Definitely will be staying again. Thank you.

Hotel and room was clean and friendly. A perfect place on the sea front. Would recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced hotel within easy reach of plenty of restaurants to choose from. Room was very nice!

Very pleased with this hotel, location and how clean it was. The room was very small, but worked perfectly fine for our stay. By the beach, easy free parking and very friendsly staff.

We did daytours to Cognac and Bourdaux during our stay.

Royan has lots of restaurants, both bad and good. Small shops and lots of cafés and places for crepes.

My only regret is that we never had the time for breakfast, it looked great!

Arrived late but a warm welcome still awaited us. Owner helped us with bags as we were on 2nd floor. Very narrow staircase no lift! We were pointed in right direction for dinner. Booked sea view room which was very comfortable, bed was comfy and the white large fluffy Towels were lovely. Sorry it was only a one night would serious think about coming back to explore more.

Hotel bien ubicado relativamente cerca de la estación y del embarcadero para cruzar el estuario de la Gironde. Bien atendido por sus dueños, amables y empaticos. Una vista hermosa, habitación cómoda y sin ruidos.

Waren eine nacht dort.

Es wurde uns ein viel höhere preis angeboten als im internet. Als wir daraufhin wiesen wurde schnippisch geantwortet: dann bucht halt übers internet.

Haben wir auch gemacht, aber eine höhere kategorie als uns gezeigt wurde. War dann auch nicht recht...

Zimmer sauber und mit allem, was man braucht. Sehr schöner balkon.

Bei abreise wurde ich nicht mal gegrüsst. Schade...

Indeed on the internet you can find occasional, last minute deals or offers for early reservations with very strict conditions (non cancellable, payment at booking ...).
You are first come to introduce yourself to the hotel by asking us our rates, then asking us to visit a room! We agreed to take you to a room. Until then everything went well, then you went out, you then booked a room on the internet and you came back with this reservation indeed cheaper! you could have asked us if we were able to make you this discount without going through the internet if it was the price 10 euros less that interested you. Regarding your departure you saw my wife on the floor who greeted you your lady when you left and I did not see you, I found the keys on the counter that's all.
Indeed, from misunderstanding, you see me very sorry!
For your next stay in any establishment, be aware that it is not always possible to visit the rooms and if it is a rate that you have seen you are interested in announcing it directly upon arrival.

En effet sur internet vous pouvez trouver de façon ponctuelle, occasionnelle des offres de dernière minute ou bien des offres pour des réservations anticipés avec des conditions très strict (non annulable, paiement à la réservation…).
Vous êtes tout d’abord venu vous présentera à l’hôtel en nous demandant nos tarifs, puis en nous demandant de visiter une chambre ! Nous avons accepté de vous faire visiter une chambre. Jusque-là tout va bien, puis vous êtes ressorti, vous avez ensuite réservé une chambre sur le internet et vous êtes revenu avec cette réservation en effet moins chers ! vous auriez pu nous demander si on était en mesure de vous faire cette remise sans passer par internet si c’était le prix 10€ moins qui vous intéressé. Concernant votre départ vous avez vu ma femme à l’étage qui vous a salué votre dame lors de votre départ et me concernant je ne vous ai en effet pas vu, j’ai trouvé les clefs sur le comptoir c’est tout.
En effet que de quiproquo, vous m’en voyez bien désolé !
Pour votre prochain séjour, dans n’importe quel établissement sachez qu’il n’est pas toujours possible de visiter les chambres et si c’est un tarif que vous avez vu qui vous intéresse annoncez le directement à votre arrivée.

Stephanie und Stephan sind überaus gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sauber, gemütlich und ruhig. Das Hotel liegt zentral und direkt am Strand, eine gute Crêperie direkt nebenan. Wir kommen gerne wieder dorthin.
