Lovely 4 star resort. Beautiful in beach location. Very isolated with no other restaurants or bars nearby. Great place for a quiet getaway.

Came in the low season it seems, and have only positive things to say. The check in was seamless and efficient by Asian standards, and the guy checking me in had all the answers I needed.

The room was great. They all overlook the very private beach and are clean and spacious with a balcony, great for whittling away some hours with a book and a beer. I was there one afternoon for the turndown service and they were in and out in about 20 mins - which is some kind of record - without sacrificing quality and cleaning.

The restaurant has amazing food. I also dined next door at Anantara and was more impressed with the Vietnamese food at Avani. The beef pancake thing was simply outstanding. The staff were knowledgable and friendly and attentive. And the wine selection was good and reasonably priced.

And had the pleasure of meeting the GM briefly. Very personable and helpful, and that isn't always the case. He runs a tight operation to European standards, and it shows.

Bear in mind this is a fairly isolated place, so getting to town needs some organisation. If you are a couple this is ideal. As a solo traveler, I still managed to fill in some time wandering to the fishing village up the beach and having some beers with the local chaps. Don't know what we were talking about, but it was fun.

Quy Nhon (the town) isn't a tourist hotspot - or not yet - so the town and surrounding areas feel quite authentic. Everyone just going about their business. No one tried to sell me anything for the three days I was there, which makes a nice change from a lot of places in Vietnam (and Asia in general), and I was left to roam around as I wished.

Generally, can highly recommend this place as a place to unwind, read, drink cocktails and swim in the very clean ocean.

Spectacular beachfront location away from tourist area- great staff and good food . Next door to sister property Anatara villas which had great pool area/ restaurant. the owners of this property ( minor hotels) need to do a complete renovation of pool and pool area plus update the decor in rooms. This could be a very successful property if they invest some money to justify the high rates.

From the warm welcome, to the inviting pool and ocean, this invites you and calms you. We had a delightful dinner along the cliffs, soft spring rolls and prawns which were mouth watering. Breakfast was vast and carried both Western and Eastern food assortments. The only setback is that we could not stay longer.

Traumhafter Flecken Erde, trotzdem sollte sich dieses Hotel an den Standarts in der Welt orientieren und vielleicht auch so mehr Besucher anlocken. Man kommt sich wie Robinson vor. Einziger Höhepunkt, Kino am Pool.Leider lief der Film auf vietnamesisch und mit vietnamesischen Untertiteln.
