Precioso hotel en un edificio singular de la zona antigua de Cartagena de Indias. La piscina en la azotea, una maravilla, ¡y muy necesaria para aliviar el calor caribeño!. El personal del hotel muy atento y agradable, especialmente Jorge en la piscina y Gina en el restaurante ( El Gobernador, muy recomendable también)

Excelente estancia durante 4 noches en el hotel. Muy buena ubicación para conocer la ciudad, desayuno bastante completo y habitaciones en buen estado. El personal, muy amable y colaborador tanto antes de la llegada como durante la estancia.

La única pega es la ducha, que tiene una mampara bastante extraña que hace que se moje el suelo del baño siempre. Pero es un detalle menor comparado con todo lo positivo del hotel.

Nice hotel - lovely welcome, nice rooms and great breakfast. Great location in the heart of Cartagena’s old town. The rooftop pool is nice but made much less enjoyable than it should have been by some old man and a working girl shouting and playing their own music in the pool. Completely antisocial.

Family trip to Cartegena with our 2 early 20's daughters. Fantastic location and quality. Beds super comfortable and rooms were spacious. After touring city we spent afternoons on roof top pool/bar. Hotel arranged a day trip to a sister hotel on Isla Tierra Bomba. Great facility. Entire staff was extremely helpful and service oriented.

Great location and loved the style of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent, loved the buffet and the bits you could order from a menu. And we also enjoyed the pool area! We liked the rooms also, and the layout of the hotel was good.
Team were helpful and friendly!

This looks like a formerly beautiful hotel that is now run down and not kept up. The twin room really was not clean. The bathroom window was filthy. The walls have different splotches of paint. There are holes in the blackout curtains and mold on the back. The only thing that appeared to be spotlessly clean was the bed sheets, which I appreciated. Service was generally good -- credit to Jorge at the rooftop pool -- some others were more brusque. Free breakfast was abundant, but not tasty. Overall, I am not sure I would recommend this as a place to stay in Cartagena.

Hôtel très bien situé en centre ville, un vieux bâtiment très bien rénové. Notre chambre était correcte, de bonne dimension, une petite salle de douche avec un énorme problème d'évacuation des eaux de la douche,et une climatisation très très performante. Sur 2nuits le service du soir n'a été fait qu'une fois?? Malgré son emplacement les chambres sont très calmes. Le service du petit déjeuner est moyen, le pain était congelé et même avec notre remarque le serveur n'a pas réagi. Il y a du choix sur le petit déjeuner jus de fruits frais, des œufs, quelques viennoiseries, des fruits. Une piscine sur le toit est très agréable avec ces grosses chaleurs. Le restaurant est correct mais cher. Alors oui une petite déception après plusieurs casas de très bon niveaux on s'attendait à mieux même si c'est déjà pas mal.

La prima notte ci hanno dato una camera che solo per andarci si sentiva nel corridoio l'umidità e effetivamente era umida e buia per cui l'indomani ce l'hanno cambiata con un altra migliore. Siamo stati 5 notti ed era troppo per un resort molto caratteristico ma scomodo ; la colazione a buffet era servita in un locale gelato e mio compagno me la portava nel bellissimo cortile interno temperatura ambiente

Si la rénovation est parfois osée pour en faire un palace avec des murs doublés, des vues étriquées, l’ensemble est cohérent.
Le personnel est particulièrement attentionné avec une mention particulière pour celle qui a dirigé le petit déjeuner durant notre séjour.
Le petit déjeuner est des plus copieux et de qualité.

Situé idéalement au sein de la vieille ville, une magnifique architecture coloniale, un service merveilleux, un rooftop extraordinaire.
Au Bastion, les tarifs sont entièrement justifiés. En dehors des chambres relativement humides à l'étage inférieur, nous ne pouvons qu'émettre des éloges sur cet hôtel. C'est un réel plaisir d'y séjourner.

Sto facendo un tour attraverso la Colombia.ieri sera siamo arrivati in questo hotel dove il tour operator italiano ci ha prenotato una camera standard per due notti.stamattina ci siamo accorti che la camera si trova a un piano interrato che prende luce da un cavedio.una tristezza infinita!

Wir hatten hohe Erwartungen an das Bastión Luxury Hotel, die aber nicht optimal erfüllt wurden.
Unser Deluxe Doppelzimmer ging zu einem kleinen Lichtschacht mit Treppe. Mehrere Mechaniker waren während des gesamten viertägigen Aufenthalts nicht in der Lage, den Aufzug zu reparieren. Bei gefühlten 44 Grad und hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit bringt Treppensteigen nicht so viel Spaß.

Positiv: allgemein die Lage des Hotels in der bezaubernden Altstadt, die große Dachterrasse mit Pool und theoretisch auch mit Bar - wenn nicht gerade renoviert worden wäre. Das Frühstück ist sehr schön, und der Concierge hat uns einen ganz wunderbaren Bootsausflug gezaubert. Dafür hat er den bereits vor Wochen bestätigten Transfer in den nächsten Ort fast verpennt, Gott sei Dank hatten wir keinen Zeitdruck, so dass wir halt später losfuhren.
Unterm Strich würden wir nächstes Mal ein anderes Hotel buchen.

Das Bastion liegt mitten in der historischen Altstadt. Es handelt sich um einen wunderschönen Altbau, die Zimmer sind topmodern und lassen keine Wünsche offen. Das Gleiche gilt für das große Frühstücksbuffet. Der Pool auf der Dachterrasse ist für ein Boutiquehotel groß und bietet einen schönen Blick über die Stadt. Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit - das gilt vor allem für Helmundt, der uns während unseres Aufenthalts sehr geholfen hat. Ein rundum zu empfehlendes Luxushotel!

Dass Bastion Luxury Hotel in der Ciudad Amurallada ist ein tolles Hotel mit liebevoll eingerichteten Zimmern auf mehren Stockwerken. Dabei ist das”Stockwerk 1” auf einer Ebene unterhalb des Straßenniveaus. Durch mehre Atrien und Lichtschächte gibt es jedoch auch dort ausreichend Tageslicht.
Der Service ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und das Frühstücksbüffet im Restaurant „Gobernador“ ist sehr lecker.
Die Pool-Landschaft auf der Dachterrasse ist sehr schön und bietet eine tolle Aussicht, ist aber nicht besonders groß. Je nach Auslastung und Tageszeit kann es hier sicherlich ein wenig eng werden.
Leider sind die Zimmer recht hellhörig. Durch die offene Bauweise, die Atrien und hölzerne Brücken zwischen den Gebäudeteilen hört man ziemlich jedes Geräusch. Hier wären Fenster und Türen mit besserem Schallschutz ein wenig angenehmer. Glücklicherweise war es jedoch nach 22:30 Uhr insgesamt dann doch noch ruhig und wir konnten gut schlafen.

Wir waren fast zwei Wochen im Bastion und haben dort einen wunder schönen Aufenthalt gehabt. Die Zimmer sind schön und sauber. Es hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen, dass es immer ausreichend Handtücher gab. Es wurde Nachmittags noch mal nachgefragt ob man noch welche bräuchte. Das Frühstücksbüffet war sehr gut und es gab eine sehr gute Auswahl von Früchten und Säften. Der Pool ist ausreichend groß um zum schwimmen, was eine echte Ausnahme in den Boutique Hotels in Cartagena ist. Sehr ,sehr angenehm ist auch ,dass es am Pool immer ausreichend Handtücher gibt, und nicht wie sonst oft pro Gast ein Handtuch . Das Beste am Hotel ist aber das sehr nette, hilfsbereite und freundliche Personal. Das fängt mit Eduardo und seiner weiblichen Vertretung ( den Namen weiss ich leider nicht) am Empfang an, William der den Pool organisiert, Luis, Samir und die vielen anderen deren Namen ich nicht weiss, die aber alle sehr freundlich sind. Uns gefällt die entspannte Atmosphäre, die aber trotzdem sehr aufmerksam ist. Das Hotel haben wir auch sehr sauber erlebt, das Housekeeping war sehr gut . Wir können das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder unseren Urlaub dort verbringen.
