Casa Andina Premium Valle Sagrado Hotel & Villas

This hotel is set a small way out of Ollantaytumbo, the gateway to The Sacred Valley and the station to Machu Picchu.

It is more of a resort than just a hotel set on a large estate with llamas helping to keep the grass short. There are mutiple places to sit in the grounds and enjoy the surrounding countryside. It even has an observatory for looking at the stars.

Our room was a short walk from the main building. There are both ramps and steps to make it easier when moving your luggage.

Our room was large and comfortable with two king size beds. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was a decent size. The shower is over the bath. There were sufficient sockets for charging devices.

Breakfast had a reasonable selection of food. There was no espresso machine, however if you select an americano and remove the cup before the additional water pours in you can almost get one.

Dinner has a limited choice which doesn't vary from day to day.

The staff are friendly and efficient. The rooms are kept clean.

Overall this is a good base for a visit to The Sacred Valley

Very nice hotel. Staff are friendly and courteous. Our room was great and large enough to feel at ease. Views are nice and calming. The bed comfortable and pillows were soft. Great shower space. The two elements that need some work are: 1) Restaurant service was very slow with one person serving during the two day stay. Food is good. 2) Spa is okay and pricey. The person who attended me was in training with little experience. I would explore other properties for what we paid in the future.

Excelente y acogedor lugar!!!! La atención del personal fue muy buena. Todos atentos y amables. Las personas que atienden en el restaurante fueron muy atentas y estuvieron muy pendientes de que nos sintiéramos bien. 100 puntos para ellas. Gracias a Enrique y Jimmy por la atención en recepción y un agradecimiento especial a Paola por ayudarnos con los requerimientos de alimentación y por la celebración del cumpleaños de mi esposa. En resumen un lugar 100% recomendable.

Todo muy limpio, las camas riquísimas, y todos super buena gente! La comida también súper rica! Tenían bastante opciones para el desayuno y una mácina para hacer café que también me encanto! En las mañanas sacan a las alpacitas y puedes tomarte fotos gratis!

We had a lovely stay at the Casa Adina Premium Hotel! The entire area is lovely, with incredible mountain views and cute cabins, where the guests stay at. The place is overall very clean, we loved the breakfast food and its variety. But the best part were the Alpacas! Recommend 100%.

Ich beziehe mich auf die vorherige Bewertung meines Onkels. Ich möchte seine Kritik bestätigen, aber auch noch einmal besonders auf die Freundlichkeit des Personals hinweisen. An der Bar haben wir uns besonders wohl gefühlt. Völlig irritiert bin ich von der Antwort von Jimmy Robles. Entweder er hat ein völlig falsches Übersetzungsprogramm oder es ist Strategie, die Leser zu täuschen.

Also meiner Meinung nach hat ein Individualtourist hier nichts verloren. Eine Riesenanlage ohne Charme. Warum das Haus fünf Sterne erhalten hat erschließt sich mir nicht. Das Buchen über booking.com war schnell gemacht.
Ein Kontakt zum Hotel ließ sich nicht herstellen. Über booking bekam man keine Antwort. Auch auf emails nicht. Wir mussten uns am Bahnhof durchfragen und sind dann mit einem Taxi in eine total abgelegene Gegend gebracht worden.
Hier ist weiter nichts. Die hohen Berge erlauben nur eingeschränkte Sonnenstunden. Viele lieben jedoch den Blick auf die Berge. Auch keine Restaurants in der Nähe. Das Hauseigene hat absolut keinen Charme, hat hohe Decken und ist sehr kalt. Die Speisekarte ist langweilig und hochpreisig. Wir haben uns dann an die Bar gesetzt und Snacks bestellt. Mein Hühnchen war paniert und völlig geschmacklos. Die Barfrau sehr höflich und freundlich. Trotzdem, jemand, der Essen und Trinken mag, ist hier definitiv falsch. Das Frühstück ist gut, Kaffee ist allerdings schwer zu bekommen. Entweder man nimmt den aus einer Wärmekanne, der ist allerdings nur lauwarm. Oder man benutzt den einzigen Automaten, für ein Hotel mit ungefähr 200 Zimmern. Anstatt weitere Automaten aufzustellen, wird man per Schild gebeten, weniger frequentierte Zeiten zu wählen. Aus dem Automaten kommt etwa alle 60 Sekunden ein Kaffee raus, daher sind die Schlangen lang. Bei uns war der Automat auch noch ständig defekt. Ganz schlecht organisiert.
Das Zimmer war groß, die Matratzen sehr gut. Das Bad jedoch renovierungsbedürftig, Fugen rausgebrochen und die Duschtür schließt nicht richtig, sodass die Fußmatte vor der Dusche klatschnass wird. Man soll kein Papier in die Toilette werfen, für so ein großes fünf Sterne Hotel peinlich. Eine Pumpenanlage löst das in anderen Häusern. Das Hotel ist quasi auf der grünen Wiese und nicht mitten in der Stadt. In unserem Preis von 175,- USD war nur Frühstück inclusive, Wellness und Spa nur gegen sehr teures Geld.
Die Anlage ist sauber und gepflegt und die Mitarbeiter allesamt sehr freundlich mit Spaß und lächelnd bei ihrer Arbeit. Jeden Tag um 8.00 Uhr, 12.00 Uhr und 16.00 Uhr werden vier junge Alpakas von Kindern der Gäste gefüttert. Sehr charmant anzusehen.

Ottimo resort , bello , ben arredato pulito con personale gentilissimo. Ottima la colazione. Ambienti puliti , silenzioso camere comode ben organizzato. Nel l’ingresso un bel camino moderno e funzionante Complimenti….. anche ai Lama . Nel cuore delle Ande peruviane

Das Hotel befindet sich in einer sehr gepflegten und weitläufigen Anlage mit einem tollen Blick auf die Anden. Die Zimmer sind ruhig gelegen und modern eingerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Restaurant mit seinem Frühstück und Abendessen ist durchaus zu empfehlen. Ein Besuch an der Bar oder ein Getränk vor dem Kamin lohnen sich.

Des activités sympas (observatoire astronomique, jeux, alpagas, etc.).
Notre chambre était super et bien équipée.
Une amélioration à envisager sur le restaurant, il n’y a pas beaucoup de choix pour les repas.
Le petit déjeuner est très correct.

Die Lage im urubambatal ist etwas abgelegen, aber sehr schön. Besonders morgens. Leider waren wir viel unterwegs und könnten das schöne Hotel nicht entsprechend nutzen. Das Frühstücksbüffet war wirklich sehr gut. Das Abendessen hatte eine sehr gute Auswahl und der Service war auch sehr gut. Der Pisco Sour war wunderbar. Alle Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vielen lieben Dank für einen schönen Aufenthalt.

Bellissima struttura nella valle. Giardini molto curati e le parti comuni sono carine ma forse un pò "fredde". Camera: ci hanno assegnato la suite imperiale! Bellissima ... ampio soggiorno, camera con letto a tre piazze e un televisore da 60 pollici! Bagno con vasca, doccia interna e doccia esterna ed infine giardinetto con piccola piscina privata!
Tutto molto bello anche se era freddo e dagli infissi passava un vento gelido! Comunque tutti i cottage andini sono molto belli mentre le camere e le suite hanno il bagno un pò vecchio!
Buona cena e ottima colazione ... la location è veramente incantevole!

Je suis étonnée de tant d’avis positifs.

Voici mon approche de ce soit disant 5 étoiles.

Nous avions réservé une suite room. Cette dernière était d’un confort correct mais dans un pays où au mois d’août il fait environ 15 degré maximum : on peut s’attendre à une chambre chauffée. Ce n’était pas le cas, il y faisait moins de 15 degrés. Il y avait trois petits chauffages électriques d’appoint pour 45 m2 dont juste deux marchaient. Au bout de trois heures : nous avions toujours 15 degrés dans la chambre car il y avait beaucoup de baies vitrées et aucune isolation.

Nous avons réclamé à plusieurs reprises une solution. Le personnel est inefficace et antipathique. La solution trouvée n’est pas satisfaisante car nous avons une chambre de catégorie inférieure et une chambre un peu mieux chauffée. Il faut savoir que dans cette hôtel, le chauffage n’est pas allumée avant 17 heures. C’est inadmissible pour un cinq étoiles surtout lorsque nous avions prévu de nous reposer une après midi dans notre chambre.

De plus, le restaurant n’est pas chauffé et la qualité des mets et du service est médiocre. Les prix sont plus chers qu’ailleurs car il profite de leur monopole sur le site puisqu’il n’y a pas de possibilité simple pour déjeuner ou diner ailleurs.

We apologize for not having met your expectations during your recent stay with us. Nonetheless, we would like to take this opportunity to address some of the aspects you mentioned in your comment.

On one hand, regarding the temperature, we would like to mention that you were assigned was one of the best rooms we have; located in the hotel’s Villas. In each of these rooms at the Villas there is a heater and a set of thick blankets. Nonetheless, we always offer our guests extra heaters and blankets. The first action taken was to provide you with up to 3 extra heaters, as soon as we knew about your discomfort. However, when you mentioned this action wasn’t enough, we proceeded to change rooms for you to a new one located inside the hotel. Regarding the hotel’s general heating system, as you mention, we turn it on at 5:00 pm, given that the days at Valle Sagrado are usually sunny. This heating system remains on from 5:00 pm to 9:00 am, time in which it is turned off as temperature begins to rise. We apologize if the actions taken did not fulfil your expectations; please know that we did everything we could in order to improve your experience.

On the other hand, we regret knowing that you perceived our service to be deficient. Please know that by no means did we intend to provide a bad service for you. At all times we aimed to provide solutions for you and treat you with respect, as we do all guests.

We hope that we can revert the impression taken in the near future.
