Hotel Tivoli

Ho pernottato in questo hotel per spezzare il lungo viaggio da nord a sud si tratta di un'appendice dell'hotel che lo affianca "Grand hotel duca d'Este ****" problemi riscontrati, rumori notturni tipo ascensore che sale e scende ininterottamente probabilmente guasto, rumore insopportabile del tipo scarico detriti dal tetto, camera lato strada con finestre non insonorizzate difficile dormire con tutti questi rumori; puzza in camera, bagno senza prodotti, doccia molto piccola. Bene il parcheggio e la receptionist.

If you are in a tight budget and want a luxury youth hostel feeling with some privacy of personal rooms, then this hotel is for you. The rooms are kind of clean and the location is ideal if you do not mind traveling for an hour to be in Rome city center.

The breakfast is poor and the reception is not manned in the evening.

Obviously, at this budget rate, your expectations should be low.

Booked to stay here for a dream trip to the Ryder Cup 2023, booked well in advance and reservation accepted 2022031717952512. Just had notification that the reservation has been canceled as the Hotel will be shut, REALLY during what will be the busy time due to the Ryder Cup in Roma, no assistance with any alternative. I have a feeling that they have just cancelled so they can profit from charging more money for late bookings.

L'hôtel est un peu vieillissant,
On a pu aller visiter en voiture la Vieille ville de TIVOLI qui est très belle avec ses Vestiges Romains.

Forte odeur de cigarette froide dans la chambre: la réception nous explique que toutes les chambres sont fumeurs. Les murs de la chambres était sales, la peinture est à refaire en urgence. Les portes de cabines sont usées et ne donnent pas une ilpression de propreté. Une très forte odeur d’égout remonte par la salle de bain la nuit et la fenêtre minuscule ne permet pas d’aérer. Le petit déjeuner est triste à mourir, une seule variété de thé, pas de jus ni de fruits frais, les croissants colentbau palais.

Room smelt, seat was disgusting, bed top blanket older than my mum. Tiny shower, shower gel ran out and wasn’t replaced, what’s with the hand/face towels that are like tiny little bed sheets and nothing like towels. Breakfast was poor really bad quality.
It’s big brother Hotel next door much nicer, stay there instead if you get a chance.

Comfortable hotel with clean air conditioned rooms. Continental breakfast available but next door at the Hotel Duke (big brother) you can pay extra for a cooked breakfast. Use of the Dukes swimming pool outside is free during the summer or you can use the indoor spa for 15 euros each day. Good location on the main road to Rome or Tivoli; 10 minute drive to Hadriens Villa - you must see as amazing!!

Tiene cosas buenas. Por ejemplo comparte jardín y extraordinaria piscina con otro hotel, aparentemente, de categoría superior. El personal de recepción es muy amable. El precio es ajustado ....
Sin embargo, tienen cosas que impiden que brille. Un olor horrible por la noche (sulfuroso), un desayuno solo con dulces, sin embutidos o fruta del tiempo, parking pequeño...
En verano y con tiempo libre puede ser mejor opción por lo mencionado al principio.

Hôtel passable de moyenne gamme.
La chambre est plutôt spacieuse mais la propreté est à noter 1/5. Si vous voulez dormir avec des moutons ( de poussière ) réservez vite! Les portes de douche sont sales, pleines de calcaire...
La peinture est largement defraichie, de nombreuses traces sont présentes.
Environnement de l'hôtel calme, beaucoup de magasins aux alentours.

This hotel is "connected" with neighbour hotel, as we had breakfast buffe at the other hotel and used their swimming pool. Neighbour Hotel: Grand Hotel Duca d'Este. The breakfast was what you might call typical continental, with lots of cookies, cakes, fruits and cerials, but not much "food". The swimming pool and the swimming pool area is great, a BIG plus! :-) Well, you will have to pay a fee to rent a towel if you don't bring your own, as you are not allowed to bring the towel from your room. But I don't understand why they don't have a "bar" or kiosk by the pool, as they still have a guy working there as life guard all day.
Back to the Hotel Tivoli; The room is OLD, but ok. Some ants visiting the bathroom, but they are polite and not that many. ;-) The AC works REALLY good, with not much noise. The beds are medium hard, but comfy. And I like it that the room has a "fridge"/minibar, where I could leave my drinks cold, that I had shopped accrossed the street, at the super market.
The hotel "online information" about travel distance to Rome City Center by train is NOT recommended, to much of a hassle and it does not take only 30.min. Take the bus instead just outside the hotel, to the metro st."Rebibbia"(20-25min bus ride), and the metro to your destination in center of Rome("Termini"(11.stops) or "Colosseo" 13.stops)). (Rome has only 2 Metro lines (A and B). Quick, cheap and convenient. Train takes more time, and still you will have to take the metro from the train station to get into the center of Rome. I.e. HASLE. ;-)
The hotel staff is friendly, the cleaning ladies too.

If you are not a millionaire, stay away from their offer of "fitness room", at the cost of 15€ per day it is a robbery! The fitness is situated at the neighbour hotel, and you are able to use their "spa" for the same price, but the fitness is just a joke, not even a treadmill available at the fitness. Do your "work out" at your room, or take a jog in the neighbourhood instead.

Be aware that this hotel is situated not in Tivoli, and not in Rome, you will have to use public transport to visit either, or a car if you have. But for a hotel at this price it is very decent, and thou I would not choose to stay here again if ever visiting Rome, the hotel it self is good.

Need to end also by saying that even if you get the room towards the road it is still quit, very "sound proof", and not much sound from the hall or elevator either.

Hôtel que nous avions réservé à partir d un site de réservation en ligne. La cote était de 4 sur 5. Mais la réalité était plutôt 1 sur 5. Chambre petite, pas trop propre, salle de bain défraîchie avec crépi qui tombait du plafond, joints de céramique de la douche étaient sales. La douche était sans pression et qui passait du chaud au froid. Le bruit de la route était présent et de plus il y avait une odeur de gaz propane à l extérieur et qui pénétrait dans la chambre. Le matelas était de qualité très discutable. Le déjeuner le plus minable que nous avons eu en Italie depuis 2 semaines. Même le café n était pas bon. Nous avions hâte que la nuit se termine pour partir au plus vite. A éviter.

Es un hotel sencillo, que comparte organización con el Hotel Villa d´Este, que es el hotel de categoría superior. Está situado en Tívoli Terme, una estación balnearia a 11 Km de Tívoli y a 7 del palacio de Adriano.
El hotel es sencillo, con unas habitaciones de tamaño aceptable, amueblado con sencillez, limpio. El personal, escaso (no tienen portero de noche). El baño, sencillo, acorde a la categoría del hotel. El desayuno está bien. Tienen un amplio aparcamiento gratuito. Wifi libre en todo el hotel que funciona bien.
Conviene saber que Tívoli Terme es una estación balnearia de aguas sulfurosas. Eso hace que sea frecuente en toda la ciudad un olor sulfuroso que también se percibe en el hotel. Es decir, que no es por falta de mantenimiento de las cañerías, que es lo que pensamos inicialmente.
En resumen, un hotel sencillo para una corta visita a Tívoli (con automóvil), o si se desea disfrutar del balneario.
