Baie des Anges Apart Hotel & Spa

We travelled to Punta for Christmas. We booked 2 nights and stayed 7, as unfortunatelly the rest was already sold out. Super comfortable beds and spotless rooms, gorgeous pool with sea view, quiet area and beautiful sunsets. Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff.

The rooms are old, gloomy, bathroom smelled like bug extermination spray. There is no water in the room. Our room was on the first floor, which basic meant we were on the street - where people get robbed. We had to have the metal window shades down the whole time. Generally, the price is about 3 times of what this hotel is worth.

It is an apart hotel. I went there with my family and rented a two bedroom apartment. The apartment was large enough but it as an automatic deodorizer that was almost unbearable. Actually the whole hotel was deodorized with such a sticky smell. I stayed only one night as it was really uncomfortable. Not sure why they were exaggerating with deodorizer! Location is not the best one: it is within Punta del Este but you definitely need a car to move around. Breakfast included was just OK.

Studio bien aménagé avec grand balcon donnant sur la mer , incluant coucher de soleil. Très propre, service hôtelier impeccable. Petit resto servant les petits déjeuner, cuisinette adéquate pour des repas simple en studio. Salle d'exercice et coquette piscine infini avec vue sur la mer. Stationnement extérieur pour ceux qui ne sont pas résidents.
Très bien localisé mais besoin d'une voiture pour se rendre au centro et au port de mer.

As other reviewers have noted, this isn't in the center of Punta del Este. But for us, that actually worked as an advantage, since it was more laid back, and so was the beach area in front of the hotel.

We got a family suite with two rooms, two bathrooms, and a living and dining room. It was a great size for us, and all things considered, the price was pretty good, also. We didn't have too many issues with the room, except that the doorknob to one of the bathrooms was completely broken, so you could only mostly close the door, but not all the way.

The kitchen was also pretty functional, but we did notice that we had to basically buy everything we needed, salt, pepper, and oil included. That wasn't a major annoyance, but it's good to keep in mind.

The pool area was great and relaxing, and the beach in front of the hotel is a lovely section. I wish we could have stayed at both longer than just two nights, but when we booked we were a bit skeptical about Punta.

The breakfast was pretty adequate. Not a huge selection, and no hot items, but that's OK. It was a hot day, so light fare was appropriate. Good fruit and breads, also.

Again, this is a drive of about 10 or 15 minutes from the center of town, so it's best if you have a car or are willing to get taxis if you want to go into town (and there's an underground parking garage on-site). But since we went as a family, we didn't really feel the need to be right in the middle of the action, and this hotel was perfect for us.

Elegante, senza eccessi. Stanza di circa 40 mq con terrazza sul mare, fornita di chaises longues. Personale gentilissimo e molto professionale. Un elogio speciale a tutti i ragazzi della reception perché veramente disponibili e pronti ad aiutarci sempre, con molto garbo e competenza, BRAVI E GRAZIE

L'hôtel se situe un peu à l'écart du centre de Punta del Este. Il se trouve juste en face de la mer (il faut savoir qu'une route nationale sépare les deux, ce qui ne nous a pas spécialement dérangés). Notre chambre était très spacieuse et très bien équipée. L'hôtel étant peu fréquenté à cette période, nous étions pratiquement seuls au bord de la piscine la plupart du temps. Petit-déjeuner copieux et varié. Le personnel est vraiment très sympathique et nous a aidés à chaque fois que nous en avions besoin (pour modifier notre location de voiture par exemple). Vraiment une très bonne adresse.

This hotel was the best! Clean, big rooms, lots of space, A/C, flatscreens, BBQ, GORGEOUS VIEW, pools, and terrific service. Couldn't ask for more. There are several restaurants within walking distance and right across the street from the beach! I was even able to call for a massage at my convenience. I would describe this hotel as a practical, family boutique hotel. They only serve breakfast and there is no room service, but what comfortable accommodations!

Buona accoglienza, appartamento molto grande con due bagni e camere separate,cucina completa di accessori e pulita.Buonissima colazione ed abbondante scelta, con frutta fresca ed ogni altro genere di cose,tutte buone.Garage coperto con nome e posto assegnato. Si dormono notti tranquille...

Nos alegramos muchísimo de que haya disfrutado de su estadía y que haya podido relajarse y descansar, y que nuestro variado desayuno haya sido de su agrado. Los estaremos esperando nuevamente!

L'hotel è carino, la camera con vista mare spaziosa e pulita peccato che tra il mare e l'hotel passi una strada a scorrimento veloce a 4 corsie...Il personale è gentilissimo e la colazione abbondante.La piscina piccola, al mattino piena di bambini e al pomeriggio in ombra. La spiaggia è molto bella per lunghe passeggiate e le acque calme per un bagno. Ottimo il pranzo al Parador 31. Purtroppo noi non avevamo l'auto a noleggio e abbiamo speso una fortuna in taxi e non siamo potuti andare alla La Barra perchè il costo era 3000 pesos per andare e altr i 3000 per tornare oppure due autobus che non fanno servizio la sera. Peccato! In ogni caso per Punta de L'Este noleggiate un'auto, la moto no perchè piove tantissimo almeno un giorno si e uno no e non mancate di andare a Portozuelo e Punta Ballena per me i posti più belli. Ottima esperienza per i ristoranti da Ode Tere, Incanto (il nr. 1) e Medio y Medio.

Su sugerencia de alquilar un auto es muy buena para los demás clientes. Es más económico que un transfer y luego se pueden recorrer todos los rincones lindos de Punta. Nos alegramos que haya disfrutado de su suite con vista al mar y procuraremos que los niños no se escapen de su piscina a la piscina de adultos! Feliz regreso!

Wir haben hier vier Nächte in einer Executive Suite mit direktem Meerblick übernachtet. Die Zimmer sind schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Hotel liegt durch eine Strasse getrennt direkt am Meer. Der Pool machte einen geplegten Eindruck, dass wir für die Badetücher US$2 entrichten mussten hat uns leicht verwundert. Sonst sehr empfehlenswert die Mitarbeiter sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.
